Designing and making something beautiful that becomes part of peoples everyday lives makes our job very enjoyable.

A love for working with his hands in school brought Garrett into the world of carpentry/joinery and cabinet making. Garrett’s apprenticeship specialised in making curved/spiral staircases and detailed front doors for period homes. His experience working at Clive Christians spurred the decision to start his own business. This brought him back to his home town Dungarvan where he rented a small workshop and began working by himself.

Garrett designed and handmade his first kitchen in 2003 and within the first year his work was featured in the Irish Times. The kitchen industry has come a long way since then, as has our business. Garrett now employs a team of skilled joiners & apprentices in a custom built workshop and showroom. However, Garrett’s true love is still on the workshop floor working with timber using time honoured techniques.

We pride ourselves on the customer experience and engaging with our clients throughout all stages of the process, from design to build. We appreciate that the investment you make requires the peace of mind that you are in the right hands.

Consultation

Prospective clients can pop in and browse our showroom at any time. If you would like to discuss your plans we suggest that you make an appointment, this can be done easily through contacting us. This will allow us plenty of time to discuss your project and explore any ideas, designs or proposals that you may have or go through any of your own drawings with you in detail.

Design

The next step involves sketching your plans. We will forward your prices via e-mail. If you decide to proceed, your plans are then converted to Articad 3D. Amendments and changes can be addressed at this point. On finalsing the design process, we do require a commitment from the client in the form of a deposit.

Build

Garrett and his team will make all the main components of your kitchen in his workshop in Dungarvan. We will inform you of all key milestones. We then transport the kitchen to site where we complete the installation. Final build is reviewed with snags submitted and completed in consultation with Garrett himself.

After Care

As part of our commitment to designing and creating a unique kitchen or piece of furniture for your home, we are there for you long after your project has ended.
